My Fiancee and I bring our dog to this park regularly. All of the dogs there are well behaved and the owners are usually very pleasant to talk to or be around. The park features a large dirt hill and large concrete pipes for the dogs to play on and in. Right next to the gates leading into the large as well as the small dog area and next to the public restrooms there is a nice playground with swings and other kids toys for the little ones to play in. I definitely recommend utilizing this free park.
I used the medium-sized dog park and admittedly only visited once. The area was clean and there were plenty of pickup bags and cans on hand but no other dogs present. It would be nice if the sidewalk made a loop for walking and the site is sonewhat remote for anyone not living immediately in Wellington. It seems a nice little park but kind of dull and quiet for an active dog, at least the one time I visited.
Very clean, dog owners pick up after their dogs. Separate sections for small, medium, and large dogs. Tons of room for your pup to run until he/she runs out of gas. Also, covered and shady areas for the owners to relax and chat. Very nice community dog park.
Large park and the dogs really enjoy it. I like the walking path that was added in. Keeps me moving too and often the dogs will walk it with me if there is no one else to play with.
The dog park is spacious. I do wish there was a little more room for leash walking since it helps get my dogs in the right attitude to wll before I let them play.
