Update: I had the problem fixed shortly after my visit with a root canal correction and crown at Cross County Dental on Okeechobee/Military. They also did a protective bonding procedure for my teeth. Very affordable. The dentists and orthodontists there are great.
I went for a cleaning and xrays. The lady who cleaned my teeth was fine and Dr. Crane came in and was very nice. The reason I would never go back here is because of the receptionist Mary. I have never experienced someone ruder to deal with on the phone and in person. When I asked for my dental records she had the nerve to ask me what the price is that she gave me because she gives different prices to different people. I have read other reviews about this place and multiple included how nasty her demeanor is. Sorry but you have lost my business mostly because I would never like to deal with her again.
My 7 year old daughter been to 3 dentists in the past (3 years ago), after them failing to be able to do the work, she ended up having to be IV sedated (paid cash $750 just for sedation, plus work)... due to her severe anxiety about anesthesia, or any kind of shots. Currently she started feeling a tooth ache, and I dreaded the whole situation that I knew was to come. I searched for a dentist online to see what my options were as of today, and luckily found Dr. Crane, he is the kindest best dentist we ever met, my daughter loves him. He was able to perform the work needed, and apply she anesthesia shot without my daughter even noticing it ! I could not be more pleased. The office staff was also very nice and professional. I am very impressed by the service that Dr.Crane has provide, I want to make sure that anyone who needs a good and caring dentist knows of him. Thank you Dr.Crane !

In a nutshell, no insurance at the time so I went for 3 fillings and was charged $500. I discovered that one was not filled properly and when i returned to correct it, Dr Crane, after comparing my xrays, confirmed that the doctor who did the procedure did a poor job on that specific tooth. He said she was no longer employed there. Dr Crane still however charged me $200 to to correct it. A month later, the tooth became discolored and when I went back, he said that he would have to charge me $600 for a new procedure to correct it again. I declined and he reduced his offer to $400. I asked if it was possible to get a full or partial refund of the payments already made on that specific tooth because I preferred to get the problem corrected elsewhere. His assistant said she would get back to me. To my shock and dismay, the office blocked my number.
Had a Groupon for a cleaning and xrays and exam. The Dentist Dr Crane came in but didn't look in my mouth or see if I had pockets that would require a different type of cleaning. It was NOT a thorough exam. I also had a bridge I had for over 20 years fall out. Second time in 1.5 years. My other dentist I used re cemented it in for $40.00. Dr Crane wanted $280.00!!!!! Crazy. For cement? It was a two tooth bridge and the crowns were small. Totally unreasonable! They lost a new patient.
Also the receptionist was LOUD and unprofessional. I could hear her talking about me and others from inside the room where I was having my teeth cleaned. This office doesn't know what HIPPA is apparently. She should not be working in a dental or medical office. She was rude and didn't even call me by name. She would yell from her front desk Young Lady I need to see you. I have a name!!
I am a certified mediator and teach crisis communication, so by demeanor, I am not combative. At no time was I ever rude, disrespectful or unreasonable to Dr Crane or any member of his staff. I'm still in shock that the office thought that the best resolution was to block my number.
This man and even his family are caring, generous, and just plain lovely all around as individuals. He made me feel safe during my visit ( I hate going to the dentist). He is a wonderful person with the highest bedside manner of any dentist I've experienced.
