Went in just to look at these star wars droids they were selling. And this rude ass lady. (Seemed like the manager.) Went up to us and very rudely yelled at us. "you won't get them in time for christmas!" 3 times in a row like a broken record to us when we diddint even ask about buying them just asking what they were. Very rude. This one nice guy helping us was trying to tell us about it while she kept repeating that.
I bought the BB8 toy this Christmas for my boyfriend. I went in with a gift receipt and they told me I could not get a full refund of my money if I didn't have the actual receipt just an exchange. I left annoyed, but the associate assured me I could return it because he took it out and saw it was fully functional, just not what we thought it would be. Came back with the actual receipt and had an employee try to tell me this time it was unrefundable because if certain items like BB8s were returned already opened, you could not get your money back. I then asked to speak to the manager Kelsey and explained to her my situation and how on the return policy on the back of the receipt was quite vague because it said "some items can't be returned" and that I felt like I was being treated unfairly. If I had not received my money back I probably would never go back to that brookstone and tell all of my coworkers to stay clear from that place. However, Kelsey being a great manager actually agreed with me and helped me get my money back. It was a painful experience all in all, but now I get to get my boyfriend what he actually wants due to a manager actually knowing customer service unlike many other places. However I severely disagree with brook stones terms and policies so if you really don't want to get robbed of your money from a gift you're not sure of purchasing, do NOT go here. You'll have to go through hell and back trying to get your money unless you're okay with an exchange.
Incredibly rude staff
Was enjoying the massage chair when I had staff come up to me twice asking if I was 18 (I'm 20). The second time he asked if I was 18, he laughed and thought I was joking. He said "Seriously? Bro come on." He asked for my ID as if I was buying alcohol and wanted me to confirm what address was on my own ID card. That was embarrassing and whoever that was should be terminated. Disgusting.
